It has a bunch of scientists, doctors and pilots, just like the 82 version. They find an Alien, just like the 82 version. It defrosts and starts attacking the humans, like, well just like the 82 version. And yes they have to find out who is human and who has the Thing hiding within. This was a childhood favorite that was rented on the regular from the local video store when hanging out with friends. From what we remember, this was the definition of 80s Sci-Fi Action. Every character was ripped and badass. Guns never ran out of ammo. Laws of physics took a back seat to "Looking Cool," and even the explosions were exaggerated for entertainment purposes.
