Jay Anthony is a prolific rapper, producer, and songwriter who got his start during the later days of the Hyphy Movement with his group Diligentz. He linked with the rest of HBK Gang during the infamous ShmopLife parties in Richmond and rose to success with the rest of the crew after Iamsu! and LoveRance dropped "Up!" Since then he has developed a prolific catalogue while also producing and writing for artists like Kehlani and G-Eazy. After taking a hiatus from music, he dropped the single "Nene Leaks" and is also exploring avenues into the worlds of fashion, house music, and other new projects.--For promo opportunities on the podcast, e-mail: [email protected] of the Bay Spotify Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3ZUM4rCv6xfNbvB4r8TVWU?si=9218659b5f4b43aaOnline Store: https://dregsone.myshopify.com Follow Dregs One:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1UNuCcJlRb8ImMc5haZHXF?si=poJT0BYUS-qCfpEzAX7mlAInstagram: https://instagram.com/dregs_oneTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@dregs_oneTwitter: https://twitter.com/dregs_oneFacebook: https://facebook.com/dregsone41500:00 Intro01:29 Richmond to LA09:10 The difference between LA and the Bay15:15 Staying out the way16:51 Diligentz20:01 Production25:26 The state of the Bay30:34 HBK Gang40:21 Growth as an artist44:50 Ghostwriting49:42 Fashion
