On this 54th episode of Good Timin’, we discuss the Beach Boys’ 27th studio album, Summer in Paradise. As usual with our album discussion episodes, we first cover some of the history behind the record and talk about how it came together, and then we discuss each individual track on the album one by one and share our own thoughts and opinions on them. Lastly, we cover several additional Beach Boys-related tracks from the 90s, including some of Brian Wilson’s collaborations with Andy Paley.

On this 53rd episode of Good Timin’, we pay tribute to the late great Brian Wilson, and discuss his life and lengthy musical career. Along with covering many of Brian’s contributions to The Beach Boys over the years, we also talk about some of the challenges and struggles that he faced throughout his lifetime, and how despite all of the adversity, he managed to persevere and overcome so many of them. Lastly, to close out the show we each share 10 of our favorite songs that were written or produced by Brian.
