Uncharted Territory

With the release of the High Elf team, we are now at a point where we have a complete game for the first time in many years! So, what does this swan song of a release mean for you and your tournament games? We try and tackle it all in this episode, plus we bring some specualtion as to what might come afterwards. Then, we recap the month with a look at the Great Plains Open as well as a peek at some upcoming tournaments - especially the 10th anniversary of the Blood Diamond Chalice in Edmonton.  Come on over, give us a listen...and stay for some disco!

You know what they say about March... In like a lion, out like a lamb (or was that reversed?)... but in this case it is the White Lions of the High Elf roster that are being released! We talk abou the upcoming releases, delve into the murky influence of AI on Kickstarters (the link to the Big Head Chibi kickstarter is here), talk about the troll situation that GW has, and then recap the Cry Fowl Cup - complete with an interview with the winner! On the back end, we preview the Great Plains Open (among others) and release the AI generated hit song "The Four Way Four Play" in honour of the event.  Come give it all a listen!

We open the month with a discussion of some recent NAF data that shows that the Orcs and the OWA are tops in both popularity and success. Should something be done?!   Afterwards, we talk about the High Elf preview from GW along with our thoughts about NAF's ruling on Slann - and you are NEVER going to believe what Darcy thinks! We recap Hammerslam, update you all on the Great Plains Grand Prix standings (thanks, Shawn!), and prime you up for both the Cry Fowl Cup and the Great Plains Open. A new edition of Blood Bowl will bring changes to how we play the game in general, but it will have ramifications for those of us competing in the Great Plains Grand Prix. What can you expect? We hash it all out here for you - the Good, the Bad, and the Nurgly! Scott, Josh, Lair, and Darcy recap the month that was, including an update on the winner of Winter Mayhem, Bella Chao! Well, it happened as advertised - we recorded an episode and then the Season Three annoucement came at 8am the next morning!  Please be patient with our speculation - some of which is still accurate - and our confidence levels! Darcy was 5% certain!  Now he can be 100% certain! We also talk to Dave Sutton regarding his Summer Bash win, including how best to leverage Slann and the fouling meta that exists in Alberta.  In any case, we hope you give it all a listen - and if you have any further tips regarding how best to teach kids to paint, drop us a line!
