One of the most common questions I get is, "how do we raise our kids who aren't entitled...especially if we've had success in some aspects of life?" And it makes sense. Most of us are who we are because of the struggles we've had to endure to get here. We value what we have, we aren't entitled. But...so many kids (and adults) these days are. Why? It turns out there's one very basic (but countercultural) thing you can do that will allow you to bless your kids to the moon and back without them becoming entitled. It's the problem we see most often...an active, engaged mom who's trying to lead the family, and a passive dad who's abdicated his leadership. This does NOT work. This is the one thing I wish I knew earlier in my fatherhood journey.
