Something Everyday Builder - VANCE SIMONS Interview

Long time employee (General Manager) Mark Schaible just announced the purchase of the Sonex LLC and all assets attached. Here is the interview the day after the announcement was made on Social Media with the Press Release. Sonex Aircraft is a kit plane manufacturer based in Wisconsin and has several models to choose from. 

We saw that James recently starting posting a lot on Social Media with some CAD designs and some of his own YouTube videos and decided to reach out to him to see what the fuss was all about. James owns "BELITE AIRCRAFT" in Wichita Kansas and several years back was force to close up shop after a fire in his production facility burned down the building. Well... he is back in action and planning to resume production in 2022!

He has built a Zenith CH750 Aircraft and is powering it with an ALL ELECTRIC system for humanitarian efforts in getting medical supplies and other needs out into rural areas of the world. With plans to have an infrastructure in the field powered by solar to recharge these aircraft.

Jerry Clemens speaks with us about why we need Aircraft Insurance and the different Products and Plans available to us as Pilots and Aircraft Kit Builders. I met Jerry while attending the ACCA event in Benton KS at the Stearman Field Airport. Vance is currently building a very "custom" Zenith CH701 and had been truly one of the top "posters" on our Experimental Aircraft Channel FB GROUP where we encourage everyone to "Say it With Video" and give us "Build Updates" from their home, workshop, hangar or where ever they are building. I created a 31 day Build Challenge last Christmas and well... Vance really stepped up on his build and also shared nearly daily all of is progress.
