Engearment 2025 Recap

2025 was a jam-packed year for the Engearment Team! We celebrated 11 years of providing honest outdoor gear reviews. The Team has grown to 50 writers, and they are able to provide excellent points of view for gear and how to use it. It has been an honor to be of help to the 2.2 million viewers out there! Some other fun stats - 90K hours of videos watched and 358 videos uploaded (in 2025 alone!) 2026 will have even more fun and helpful content coming (once winter actually hits! LOL) Thanks for the decade-plus of support and interaction! We do it for YOU!

Live from Jones Pass, it's the Engearment Podcast! It's been 4 months since the last podcast, and a lot of great things have been going on. Tons of reviews from the Engearment Teammates. We built a new gym in Denver (Axistence Athletics 2.0). We are getting ready to host the 8th annual Beacon Bash at Loveland Ski Area on 11/15/25 as well. This will be a free event for backcountry curious adventurers to learn how to use a beacon, shovel, and probe as well as buy raffle tickets to win awesome gear - splitboards, skis, clothing, beacons, education, and more. All funds will go to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center and Friends of Berthoud Pass.

Thank you to all our YouTube subscribers! We've reached 20K and couldn't be more thrilled. It is an absolute joy to create videos that hopefully help you find the right gear for the outdoors. The Engearment Team thanks you!   We are also preparing to participate in the OMA Summer 2025 show with 10 Engearment writers.  We will have interviews with all your favorite brands!

Fitness leader, professional triathlete, co-author of Primal Blueprint, Two Meals a Day, and a dozen more best selling books - Brad Kearns - joins the Engearment Podcast to talk about Mark Sisson and his newest book - "Born to Walk".  Brad is always wonderful to talk with and learn from.  This is his third apperance on the Engearment Podcast for a good reason - he shares wisdom on health and fitness and makes it approachable.   This episode is packed with startling facts (did you know the marathon was based on a poem and not actually 26 miles??) approachable training tips (for best performance, aim for a HR of 180 minus your age - this is also known as "fat fax HR") and so much more.  It is a real eye opener! We just wrapped up the 2025 Beacon Bash at Ski Sante Fe - raising money for the Taos Rescue Dogs and creating a scholarship for Avy level 1 education from Silverton Avalanche Guides.
