In this episode, Kev and Tracey talk about not responding correctly to traffic signs, one of the top ten reasons people fail their driving test.
We chat about the following:
Examples of traffic signs that people commonly get wrong on their tests:
- Not returning to the left-hand lane after overtaking
- Not stopping at a stop junction
- Entering a no-entry junction (such as a one-way street)
- Driving in a bus lane at a restricted time
- Going ahead at a roundabout from a dedicated left turn lane
- Not adhering to speed limit signs
While listening to this episode, ask yourself:
- Have you ever seen others make the mistakes we discussed?
- How well do you know your local area, stop junctions, no-entry roads, and bus lane times? Have you done your research?
The Ready to Pass campaign has been created to help ensure that you have prepared sufficiently for your driving test in response to the current pass rate, which has a 47% success rate.
