So the Pistons really laid an egg at home in Detroit in game 7 vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers. But, honestly, that shouldn’t take away from what was a fantastic season this year. Wes and Blake took some time to digest that loss, then went to the “studio” before the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500 to provide a few takeaways and reactions from that game 7 loss, yes, but more so to look ahead at what could be an absolutely fascinating offseason. What will or should Jalen Duren be paid in his new deal? Where will the Ausar Thompson contract negotiations go? What sort of player should the Pistons be targeting at the top of their list this offseason? And, perhaps more interestingly, what sort of challenges will a big-3 of Cade Cunningham, Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren present?
