Els Mobles / Furniture, It & Them (Direct Object Pronouns) - S2E41
You already know el, la, els and les as “the” — but did you know they can also mean “it” and “them”?
In this episode, we’re using furniture and things around the home to introduce Catalan direct object pronouns in a practical, easy-to-understand way. You’ll learn how to say things like “I see it”, “I want to buy it”, “put it here” and “move them”, and discover why you’ll sometimes hear lo, los, 'l and 'ls.
We’ll look at where these little pronouns go in a sentence, what happens with commands, and finish with a natural dialogue about moving furniture around a flat.
By the end, you’ll be hearing el, la, els and les in a whole new way!
