There’s snow business like snow business (derogatory). For this festive episode, Raven and Campbell share presents and cookie boxes, gush over Rosemary Clooney, and try to make sense of the writing choices in the 1954 Holiday Musical Film, White Christmas. The Snow Cap Recipe: 4 to 5 cups ice 4 ounces ginger simple syrup 4 ounces white rum 1 ounce lime juice Garnish with sugar coated cranberries* and a sprig of rosemary Blend everything minus the cranberries and rosemary in a blender (makes 3-4 drinks). pour into a glass and garnish in a crimus fashion. *Soak fresh cranberries in the ginger simple syrup for about 15 minutes. Coat with granulated sugar and allow time to dry (about an hour). Raven’s fears came true…a straight romance subplot. This week Raven and Campbell discuss Nessa’s speedy policy making, literally dozens of ballads, and the ultimate villain that is the Cowardly Lion in the 2025 musical film Wicked: For Good. The Good Witch Recipe: 0.75 oz vodka 0.5 oz lemon juice 0.5 oz strawberry simple syrup 1.5 tsp raspberry puree Sparkling wine or champagne brown sugar Rim a glass with brown sugar. Add vodka, juice, syrup, and puree into a shaker with ice. Combine and strain into your glass and top with sparkling wine. We are baaAAaAAaack! In the Season 3 opener, Raven and Campbell discuss changes to the source material, how to be a grade A hater, and what it means to be Good in the 2024 musical film, Wicked.  The Elphaba Thropp Recipe: - 2 tsp matcha powder - 2 oz vodka - ¾ oz lavender simple syrup - 0.5 oz vanilla liqueur - black sesame milk* Whisk matcha powder and vodka until smooth. Pour into a shaker with syrup, liqueur, and ice. Shake and pour into a glass and top with milk. *Combine ⅔ cup black sesame seeds, ½ soaked cashews, and 4 cups of water into a blender. Blend and strain with cheese cloth. Simmer over medium heat with 3 tbsp sugar and a pinch of salt for 10 minutes. Where to watch: Hulu, YouTube, Apple TV   Oliver’s Twist Recipe: - 2 oz gin  - 1 oz fresh lemon juice - ¾ oz earl grey, black pepper syrup* - ¾ oz orange liqueur   Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a lemon twist.    *Bring 1 cup sugar and 1 cup of water to a boil. Add ~8 tsp earl grey leaves and ~1 tsp ground black pepper. Add OJ and then top with champagne. *Combine ½ cup water and ½ cup sugar in a saucepan. Dissolve and bring to a boil. Add in however much ginger you desire and allow to cool.
