Episode 8: Offseason Wishlist/ Favorite Draft Prospects

The Kris & Cris duo return to recap the Knicks win over the Detroit Pistons. We discuss the importance of the Knicks being above .500 and being the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference. RJ Barrett/Julius Randle and what approach should the Knicks take leading into the trade deadline. 

In today's episode, Cris & Kris discuss the last nine games that the Knicks have played. Some highs and some lows. RJ Barrett's struggles, Mitchell Robinson and Coach Thibs. Stay tuned toward the end of the show and find out why the Knicks are like  Costco. 

The Knicks lose to the 76ers at home 109-89. It was as tough as a night as we can expect. Point guard struggles, RJ had an off night, Randle played well & Elfrid Payton simply does not fit this team. Kris & Cris give their immediate post game reactions of the game. Keeping it short and simple for this episode. Look out for more postgame episodes. 

The Cris & Kris duo are back with our season expectations. We touched up on everything that has happened throughout the offseason. Draft night was a big night for the Knicks and all of the fans who followed the draft closely. They ultimately drafted Obi Toppin and Immanuel Quickley. We spoke about both players and the rest of the free agent signings that were brought on to the team, such as Nerlens Noel, Austin Rivers and Alec Burks. It was important for us to talk about what we expect out of our young core and what we realistically would like to see out of them.

The Knicks end up with the 8th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. A lot is still left to be determined. Will Leon Rose try and trade up or will he trade the pick for an established player? The Cris&Kris duo dive in to what they think will happen. 

We welcome a first time guest to the show - Vivek Dadhania of KFS & DailyKnicksFS. We got into his four part series of potential players the Knicks might target who have CAA ties. Some Devin Booker talk emerged, along with CP3's name. Danilo Gallinari was mentioned along with Carmelo Anthony & what a Melo/Garden reunion would look like. Vivek touched base towards the end on his latest piece called "The Thibs Files", where he goes into depth what 3 goals for Mitchell Robinson should be.
