Episode 4 - ‘Faith’ "Gravely wounded in Humboldt County, California, Sean wakes in hospital to find Daniel still missing. Under arrest, and facing tough questions, Sean's options are few: only quick thinking and unexpected allies can secure his freedom. Searching for Daniel under the scorching Nevada sun and through freezing desert nights, Sean must make his toughest choices yet. Puerto Lobos and the dream of freedom have never felt so far away.” This episode puts Sean through hell and because of that and the separation of Sean and Daniel, the pacing is often off and the episode feels weird, but both Dylan and Nick are ready to see where things are head in the final episode following this episodes massive events. Episode 3 - ‘Wastelands’ Episode 3, ‘Wastelands’, continues Sean and Daniel Diaz’s journey to Mexico, as they reach the towering redwood forests of California. Falling in with a community of drifters on the fringes of society, the brothers are exposed to new experiences, encounter new friends and challenges, and must confront much about themselves in the process. New relationships cause friction between the brothers and raise doubts about their unity. Can they stay together, or will their journey together end here? Dylan and Nick are both in agreement, this is a very good episode. They discuss the ‘Murder Mountain’ influences and the topic of pot-farms. Along with Daniels ever growing anger issues and where that could lead into the final episodes of the season. Episode Two - ‘Rules’ The two brothers continue their journey on the road into the winter months & struggle against the cold. As Daniel gradually falls ill, Sean’s concern for his younger brother increases and decides the pair of them must make their way to their distant grandparent’s house to recover and seek shelter. With episode 2 of Life is Strange 2 finally get to meet some of Sean and Daniels extended family and get hints into their mothers past. Of course, ‘Rules’ also connects in ‘The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit,’ although both Nick and Dylan aren’t sure how well it’s all pieced together into the main series. We here at the Explosion Network are huge Life Is Strange fans, and although our usual 'aftershow' series focuses on TV programs (South of Kings Landing, BevanWorld), we figured it was time to dive into gaming as well! Introducing, Beyond The Strange: Life Is Strange Aftershow. Sometime shortly after the release of each episode of Life Is Strange 2 we will be breaking down the story, discussing the characters and going over each of our decisions per episode.
