Transformed - Module Two - Session One

In this session we go deeper into the meaning of building a first floor and the difference between that and the ground floor. Using Matthew 16 we talk about the difference between finding your life and losing it. This is all in the context of ministry calling as a Christian. Of course if this is your first look at inner discipling, this may not make complete sense to you and I would encorage you to look at the full playlist called TRANSFORMED. If you feel you would like to know more or your Church would like to run te course, please contact us on [email protected] We have a team that will fully support you in running your course. 0:00 Start 0:03 Introduction to the session 5:05 Session Two start 5:30 Praying for the session 10:41 Who you are - sharing from the floor 28:49 When it gets serious - the stairs 29:45 Celebrating and Congratulating 30:20 Recognising your parts 30:40 The parts are protecting someone younger! 34:20 You are not becoming, you already are! 37:05 The difference between the ground floor and the first floor 39:32 The stairs 43:21 Man's wisdom is always a copy of a spiritual truth 45:11 Philippians Ch4 V13 explained 45:41 The difference between the floors made clearer 52:20 When you see the part, the part sees you! 53:48 Be careful! 54:30 Matthew 16 going further 58:51 New thoughts - Two Kings 01:00:44 Your Ministry 01:01:24 Your parts are you, but younger 01:02:41 Break time 01:02:47 Going Deeper 01:03:30 The hard teaching 01:04:19 The trap 01:10:30 The Transformation 01:12:20 The upper room 01:13:40 The vision for the future

In this session we embark upon the final part of the journey, and the most exciting! Yes, we are looking at building our first floor. Having done our planning, built our foundation (on the rock, not the sand), and having built our ground floor, we are now heading into the upper room of our Ministry calling. Still working at our own pace and still not being told what to do. In this session you will hear about addiction and reverse addiction and the way that they shape our system and lead us into inner discipling. Also there is a section on what the stairs consist of, as well as discussion with the participants. Contact us for training on [email protected] Please consider passing this on to anyone who might benefit. 0:00 start 0:03 Introduction 4:10 Session start 6:00 The aims of the module 6:48 The four sessions of Module Four 10:15 The courage of the believer 12:00 Definig the first floor 23:34 The stairs we will build 56:05 John 15 - The true vine 01:06:47 Deceiving ourselves - who we are not 01:15:59 Addicts and Reverse addicts 01:23:58 Discussion section - Parts behaviours 01:36:09 Finishing in prayer Ask

In this session we spend some time connecting the ideas of the spirit with the flesh and the flesh with the spirit. This was done to ensure that the elements of spiritual progress do not become disconnected with earthly problems. If we allow this disconnection then challenges can become temptations rather than trials. In other words, we can shrink rather than grow. So Challenges are going to happen (John 16:33), our job is to make sure that we turn the challenge into a trial, not a temptation. In therapy this is thought of as staying intentional not drifting into victimhood. This helps us to nderstand how to make our 'normal lives' spiritually motivated (Phil 4:13). We also inspired some great sharing from the participants around their experience of transformation, and their struggles with the flesh. In this, the third session in Module Three, we look deeper into what it is that helps us cope well with the reality of 'normal life'. From Matthew 5:37 and let your yes be yes and your no be no, all the way to assessing the equality of our relationships from a perspective of avoiding looking down on someone or looking up to them. Another aspect of this video is from 1 Peter 2:15, which encourages us to trust that our own behaviour is the best way to influence others around us. Another important aspect of this session is from Mark 3 and verse 25. Taking this idea that a house divided against itself cannot stand, we bring the idea that you, as a house yourself, should be concentrating on being in harmony with yourself first and foremost.  Please consider liking, subscribing and sharing this video with others that may benefit.

In this session we continue to support people in coping with normal life responsibilities. Using Matthew 5 and verse 37 we look at the idea of saying and meaning 'yes' and 'no', and how this relates to our attitudes and beliefs as they construct our relationships. We then take a deeper look at the idea of 'oaths' or 'swearing by something'. Jesus says that this comes from the evil one and we show that oaths are manipulative and undermine your credibility. Of course this does not include things like oaths made in Court, since these are based upon the law rather than personal relationships, render unto Ceasar etc. If you are benefitting from these sessions. please consider sharing them with others as this really hels us get the message out there. In this Module we are going to be looking at the 'ground floor'. I call this the floor of normality, which can cause some people difficulties right of the bat. "What is normal anyway"? Whose normal etc. We keep this very simple and talk about things that pretty much everyone would consider part of, or within the parameters of, normal life. Paying bills, being where you said you would be, doing what you said you would do. Staying within the boundaries of the law, and managing relationships without things eroding into chaos. Personal boundaries and interpersonal relationships are the subject of the first session. Please consider sharing this podcast with others that you think might benefit.

In this final session of Module Two we confirm that we are prepared to build what is seen on what is unseen. Our foundation will not be seen by anyone but you and the Lord! We also explore the idea of identity through Gods creation of family. When we see our identity this way, things become simpler and more ordered. We also look at the way you beome indistinguishable from God when we say his word, when we live in his will and when we follow his ways. Here is a link to the module two checklist. This will help you to assess if you are ready to continue forwards, or if you should go back and explore previous modules more. https://mcdn.podbean.com/mf/web/m653w27jpyzxfvie/Transformed_Module_Two_checklistaatsf.pdf

This is the third session of our second Module - Foundation. In this session of live teaching at the message Trust https://maps.app.goo.gl/dS331ujc4KJTTAhq7 We think of rooms as individual relationships, which then produce personal responsibilities. This links to the idea of identity, which a lot of people struggle with. This Bible based approach says that your identity is formed by your roles in life. Father, Mother, brother, sister, these are the roles that God has designed and He uses them to knit us together as a fellowship of saints.

We are now in the middle of the second module of four on this course. This one is called the ground floor. I call it the ground floor of 'normality' because it is built on the foundation and it supports the first floor of vision and ministry. In this live teaching session you will learn valuable and important guidance on how to begin working with your first 'part', following the ideas of unblending and the observer position. Here is a link to the book that accompanies the course. https://amzn.eu/d/1ZI28kt Please consider reading the book if you are getting something from these videos. It really helps me get the message out there. Thank you.

This is the first of the second module live teaching sessions. Following the first module on preparation, the second module will focus on building a solid and stable foundation on which to build our new life. Using Jesus' teaching from Matthew 7 and verse 24 onwards we will be encouraging people to build our house upon the 'rock' of the word of God.
