SHIELD: Case Files: Daredevil Born Again #103 "The Hollow of His Hand"

After a dramatic assassination attempt on Fisk, Murdock lies in the hospital. But the Mayor is going to take full advantage of this event by blacking out the city and hunting vigilantes. That includes Murdock. Luckily, our hero gets a surprise visit from two good friends. Frank and Karen show up to give him a hand. But is it too late to stop Fisk's rise to power? Benjamin Pondexter is not feeling safe in prison. He contacts the least likely person to help him; Matt Murdock. Murdock isn't so keen to jump at the chance and swears that he and Fisk are somehow connected. It's bothering him so much that it's affecting his relationship with Heather. When the couple gets invited to Fisk's fundraising ball, a confrontation seems inevitable. But who is going to get the upper hand? Mayor Fisk is none too happy that Daredevil has returned. He sends his task force to stop Muse before Daredevil is seen as the hero. It turns out that Matt's girlfriend Heather is Muse's therapist. And when she discovers the truth about him during a session, it could spell the end for her. Can Daredevil get there in time, or will Fisk's task force save the day? (or take the credit?) Muse's deadly deeds have finally been discovered. When the police finally realize that he's been killing his victims to create his murals, Fisk puts together a dark task force of crooked cops to stop him and other vigilantes. Could this be the final straw that pushes Fisk back into his King Pin ways? Matt gets a visit from Angela Ayala who tells him that her uncle was on the trail of this same serial killer and wants Matt's help. Matt thought he was just going to go to the bank to see if they'd give him a loan. But when Luca's Irish mobsters seize the bank, Matt has to work with the assistant bank manager Yusuf Khan in hopes of stopping them. Luckily our hero is a very good lawyer and uses his cunning verbal skills (and a little bone adjustment) to try to save the day.
