Cindy James, a 44-year-old nurse from British Columbia, spent seven years reporting over 100 incidents of harassment, violent attacks, and threats from an alleged anonymous stalker. Despite police investigations and media coverage, no assailant was ever identified, and Cindy was repeatedly found injured or drugged under bizarre circumstances—sometimes hogtied or with needle marks—only to survive each event. In 1989, her body was discovered in the yard of an abandoned house, hogtied with a nylon stocking around her neck and a fatal dose of morphine and sedatives in her system. No weapon or injection tools were found at the scene. A coroner's inquest ruled her death as an "unknown event," unable to determine whether it was suicide, homicide, or accidental. ​Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind, a 22-year-old member of the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe, was tragically murdered in August 2017 in Fargo, North Dakota. Eight months pregnant at the time, she was lured to her neighbor's apartment under the pretense of assisting with a sewing project. There, she was attacked, and her unborn child was forcibly removed. Her body was discovered days later in the Red River, while her baby was found alive and has since been raised by her family. Her death was originally ruled a homicide, but after the medical examiner learned that the fiancé had to break the door down because it was locked from the inside, he changed the manner of death to suicide.But the math wasn’t mathing here. How could a woman stab herself 10 times in the BACK of her head, neck & shoulders?
