PROSE-POETRY AS EMOTIONAL ARCHITECTURE: HEALING, IDENTITY, & BELONGING
— "I want a second chance with you in a world
where time is infinite boundaries will not divide religion will not win and loving you is not a sin."
For Shuchi, writing has always been a form of healing — not in the sense that it erases pain, but that it gives pain meaning. Every poem is an attempt to understand a feeling more deeply, to honor it, and to transform it into something that might help someone else feel less alone.
Through her bestselling books "You Belong With Me" and "Why Did You Let Me Go?", she has explored the full spectrum of love and loss. These works emerged from personal experiences, but they belong to everyone who has ever loved deeply, lost painfully, and found the courage to begin again.
