Isn’t it kind of weird how Archer was a huge cultural thing for a minute? Then a group of extremists called themselves ISIS and the whole show started the flush into irrelevance. This week on Anime Pulse we got Christmas Gift unboxings, the charity for a real life counterpart to a virtual horse, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Up first IRL news sees Andrew gets in some last minute shopping while he is in Scotland, and Joseph is totally cheating his way through a separate save in New Vegas. Then in the industry news some fans raise money to give a racing horse a place to retire, bet they'll be on Santa's good list. Right before reviews Joseph and Andrew perform the annual Anime Pulse gift exchange, what will they get? Finally reviews! Joseph ignores all the advances a bunch of hot demi-humans make towards him, because dammit he's a doctor not a bachelor! And Andrew heads to a small room to share it with a criminal as they sing their hearts out.

This week on Anime Pulse we got more vtuber drama, sexy GILF dragons, and awkward relationships in anime. Up first IRL news with Andrew has been a busy lad going to numerous parties, and Joseph fighting the hardest boss in New Vegas. Then in the industry news, a peanut won an award for best vtuber despite claiming to not be one. And finally more reviews with Joseph going from king to boy to dragon lord, and Andrew watches over two angels who retconned their entire first season.

We think we’re onto some real good panel ideas. We’ve been thinking that we should do a nice maple veneer over plywood. Perhaps a nice natural hard wax to really bring out the grain and give a comfy cabin feel. Perhaps some rough hewn pine to bracket the windows would compliment it nicely. This week on Anime Pulse we got discount Hooter girls, graduating Hololive talent, and waifus & husbandos. Up first Joseph got hit with his first major snow storm of the year, and Andrew has been spending his leftover PTO before the end of the year. Then in the industry news a Gen 4 member of Hololive is moving on with her life, for good. And finally in the reviews Joseph meets a beer selling gal girl at a baseball stadium, and Andrew places all his bets on a horse named Narita Top Road.

It seems like it’s time once more to grab some Japanese film. Especially after the passing of Tatsuya Nakadai. This gives us an excuse to go grab one of his films. So let’s grab the three hour Akira Kurosawa film, Kagemusha: The Shadow Warrior(1980). Set before the unification of Japan, we have Tatsuya playing Shingen Takeda and his perfect double. Shingen’s regular body double found a criminal that looks like Shingen’s twin. A good thing too as lord Takeda get’s mortally wounded and begs his generals and the other double to keep the peace for at least three years. This is to keep Oda Nobunaga from becoming emboldened. Up first IRL news has Andrew being jumped scared by spooky games, and Joseph spent his long weekend well and even fulfilled on his promised unboxing stream. Then in the industry news we got nothing, well, nothing except for the final vtuber would or wouldn't. And finally another round of reviews ends things as Joseph wants to murder a cockblocking child, and Andrew is sentenced to community service on galaxy subway 999.
