Manga Pulse 555: Hooligan’s Abyss

This week on Anime Pulse we got manga animated with texture rigging, getting down with the sickness, and anime to watch with aliens. Up first Andrew returns from his minor break to indulge us with his stories from the trip, and Joseph got a sinus infection and actually had to take a sick day off of work. Then we give a pass to industry news, because previews tend to run the show a little too long, but the community is still here with some Ayy LAMO. Lastly we're into a new season with new anime as Joseph east monsters, becomes a great sage, and is totally not banging his ninja-like companion. Andrew meanwhile becomes a North Star rooster who uses petals to reincarnate.

Does anything take you back to the good old days more than a Scholastic Bookfair? Not Tim because his parents didn’t authorize the spend for such things. There were plenty of books in the library for practically free. Kids who’s parents wanted to encourage reading though might remember the covers of Animorphs. This week on Anime Pulse we got the Spring Cleaning Giveaway, your choice in bodyguards, and heroes with social anxiety. Up first IRL news with Andrew got a terrible hangover and then went for a run, and Joseph got his car fixed and is playing a new game. Then in the industry news Mr. Atatatata himself will become a playable character in a fighting game. Lastly the reviews wrap things up with Joseph recruiting a part of girls who all secretly want to kill him, and Andrew becomes the strongest man alive by beating up everyone else.

This week on Anime Pulse we got mysterious car liquids, frustrating anime characters, and really poor communication. Up first IRL news has Andrew saved up a bunch of ammo for the final boss in RE9, and Joseph gets super lucky with some car trouble. Then in the industry news a One Piece director thinks adaptations are no good. Lastly more reviews with Joseph failing to properly communicate with the hero's party, and Andrew gets back on that saddle and recruits some spicy horses.

How may reviews for Superman movies does the world need? It needs ours and that’s about it. Everyone else can go back to Krypton. Yes, we sat down and finally watched James Gunn’s Superman[2025]. We figured we didn’t want to place it in the list of movies we’d watch when we get around to a theme episode sometime. If you’ve existed in Western pop culture, you know the basics.
