-Debut with Angela Musings launching this Fall 2024- As the final episode together last week Kendall and Angela went over all roads that lead to our current evolution and with that this is the official last episode being placed on The Unpolished (tearful as I type this out, trust.) We truly believe the timing is right, and with that I get the honor of sharing this episode, a first look at what I will be kicking up over on Debut. (This episode will also be my launch episode over there!) Debut is a show centered around interviewing brand owners, founders, niche hobbyists alike to gab about how they ended up at where they are today. Heavy emphasis on the prequel, I'm most interested in the heart and people behind a brand, less business tips and more storytelling forward. I got the honor of interviewing the VP of Marketing at Honey Smoked Fish, Liz Spencer, by quite literally asking in the Contact Us form of their official website. I am transfixed on their entire product line, but particularly, the Honey Smoked Fish salmon stackers (found at Target, Costco, participating Krogers and more!) She walks through how she got affiliated with Honey Smoked Fish and the way she ended up in Colorado. From the wrong college, to the wrong marriage, to learning and growing, Liz graciously and authentically bares her soul. I am so lucky to have gotten to talk to her for the hour I did, especially speaking about early motherhood and breastfeeding in a way that is rare and important. We also talk salmon. Well, how does one wrap up four years of spiritual awakenings, life long friendships, lightbulb moments particularly as women in their early 30s?  SOS This episode is about why we came to the decision to end this show, bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it. Ok team, last episode we talked mainly about following little breadcrumbs (nods from the universe// aligned winks) and how to keep a version of the life you want alive in any season. A catch-up chit chat episode! Kendall and Angela have started a slew of new projects (running theme: we can’t keep our paws to ourselves) and discuss how they came to be, what’s lighting us up (hanna house) and how the creativity faucet ebbs and flows. The biggest intuitive lesson is the knowing that our flow will always come back around so love her when she’s here, trust she’s coming back when she’s quiet. We’re feelin garden chic this spring so it only felt right to have green thumb angel, Rachel Weeks of @scouthouse, on this week. Rachel is a copywriter + just over all vibe curator, so this episode is jam packed with goodness. We get into easy garden hacks for even the smallest space, living deliciously intentional within work and play, creating and nurturing community as an adult, and then end on a spicy note with dating yucks and yums in the wild Wild West of online situationships.
