St. Thérèse of Lisieux (1873 - 1897) is the youngest Doctor of the Church, but wrote more than some of the other Doctors. She has been called a doctor for the new millennium, and offers a striking contrast from our culture's obsession with being rich and famous, by giving us an example of holiness as seeking to be poor and anonymous.
