3 Guys Before The Game - Nathan Adrian Visits (Episode 556)

Oliver Straw is a young man, but he's already seen the world. The standout West Virginia University punter was born in the United States, but has lived in England, Bangkok and Australia.  Those life-experiences give him a unique and special perspective as he prepares for his junior season at WVU. In this Summer Series episode, Brad Howe and Tony Caridi introduce you to a colorful and insightful member of the Mountaineers.

She was a top-5 national basketball recruit in high school, but she decided to play volleyball instead.She hired a former professional baseball player, who never played volleyball, to join her first coaching staff. Jen Greeny, West Virginia's new volleyball coach, has made some surprising decisions during her carrer and they've all worked fantastically. Now six months into her new job in Morgantown, the building of the WVU program is operating at full speed. The new coach knows the challenges that lie ahead, but her experience gives her the confidence to know she will succeed. In this episode, Greeny visits Brad Howe and Tony Caridi for an in-depth conversatioin on her career and decision to make Morgantown her new home. 

It's been a storybook season for West Virginia University golf coach Sean Covich.  The Mississippi native, hired to restart the Mountaineer program nine years ago, has guided his squad to the championship round of the NCAA tournament. It's just the second time in school history that a Mountaineer golf team has reached this round.  The only other time it happened was 1947.  So, yeah, it's a big deal. In this episode, Covich reflects on building the WVU program and the significance of this season's accomplishments.  Listener questions and comments complete the show.
