The musical is deeply personal, drawing from the true story of Apple’s brother, James, who battled paranoid schizophrenia.Apple’s background is as rich as her compositions. A former choir teacher, she has spent years performing in theatre, dance, and singing engagements in Dallas and Plano, Texas. For 18 years, she has dedicated her talents to educating young musicians at a private school in Plano.
