Every year, Ashford Hollow holds its quaint All Hallows’ Eve Festival, complete with pumpkin carving, a costume parade, and the traditional twelve chimes from the church bell at the witching hour. But this year, after the final twelfth chime… a thirteenth toll rings out. The festival’s Pumpkin Queen has vanished, her carved pumpkin crown smashed to pieces in the town square.
