Shiminga Meyers is a wife, mother of two, and an avid participator in the arts. She was born in Detroit, Michigan April 17, 1984, to the parents of Delois Chambers and the late Melvin Forney who made his transition to the other side in March of 2016. In 2010 Shiminga moved to Orlando, Fl where she met her husband David, and began her family. As a young girl, Shiminga had no formal training in the arts, but she loved to write plays, poems, and stories which led to her passion for creative writing. Shiminga has independently ventured into many entertainment fields, from writing, rapping, and performing her own music to writing, acting, and directing independent film projects. Since she was a little girl she could always imagine herself on television and aspired to be a star someday.
