     Slam the Gavel welcomes back Kai Tristan Rivera to the podcast. Kai was last on the show Season 5, Episode 131, where he talked about his two brothers being withheld from his family.           Kai is a very determined young man and devoted big brother, who first spoke out last year to shine a light on the hidden abuse and the fight to keep families together. He’s returned now to give an important update on his journey, using his voice and platforms to expose Family Court corruption and defend the bonds that should never be broken. Kai‘s mission is simple but powerful: to protect his little brother’s, stand for the truth and inspire others around him to stand up for what is right.     Kai discussed what walking into the family court had felt like and sitting next to his abuser. He had also discussed what happened in court recently and how there was a one-sided interview with CPS. He did say that the Hearing Moderator was listening to him, however not changing anything while his little brothers are being turned against Kai and his whole family. In the past going before Judge Sibum, he questions if she ever listened to his brothers at all and didn't interview him either.     Encouraging others to speak out as Kai wants others to speak out. Now, they have Marineka in the arrears of $23,000.00 and father NOW demands that she go to jail in order to break the  parental bond Marineka has with her daughter.      Bear in mind the father was not involved in their lives since birth and never contributed to help raising their child. SUDDENLY, he comes back into their lives only to turn it upside down. He asked for one day a week only for one hour to visit his daughter. Judge Natalie Haskins replied, "this is going to be an issue when you come back for custody." Essentially, father came back to court so Haskins could reverse custody and she asked him who would be helping him raise his child. He told her his father, who is in his 80's would be helping. So Judge Haskins gave him custody. Poor decision making on the part of the judge when their daughter was doing well in reading, and now cannot even spell simple words.    Slam the Gavel welcomes Olga Wilson to the podcast. Olga is a mom, an immigrant and a survivor of systemic abuse within the California family court system. She came on the podcast to speak on behalf of all parents suffering through this system who have been silenced, targeted and retaliated against for doing what any decent parent would do: PROTECT THEIR CHILDREN.     What Olga found, unfortunately, when she came to this country from Russia 12 years ago, she saw for herself the corruption, collusion and cruelty.  In Butte County, California, Olga lost custody of her daughter without a trial, evidence and without a voice. Her interpreter was giving wrong responses and calling her an "applicant," instead of a Petitioner. There were transcription discrepancies. Despite video-recorded disclosures of abuse, reports from mandated reporters and her own efforts to seek help, Olga was mocked in open court, threatened with jail and labeled a "vexatious litigant," while legally kidnapping her daughter.    The evidence has either been sealed, ignored or erased.       Slam the Gavel welcomes Jonathan, a U.S. Navy veteran who served 8 years aboard submarines and Samantha, a South African immigrant.      Together, they’re raising three wonderful children and building their creative business, SilverCo Design, where they specialize in brand identity.     In September 2024, their family faced an unexpected and life-changing event: their 5-year-old daughter was removed from their care without a warrant, without emergency circumstances, and without the due process every family is entitled to. The removal was based on coercion and a rushed and questionable medical report involving coordination between DSS, hospital staff, and local law enforcement.    Almost 2 months later, they had been arrested, without ever being questioned, on charges that stemmed from incomplete information and procedural mis-steps. The arrest was an act of retaliation for filing an appeal to challenge the DSS Level-1 finding of "Abuse and Neglect."  Since then, Jonathan and Samantha have been navigating a legal system that has made reunification unnecessarily difficult, despite their cooperation with DSS, and a home where two of their children, ages 10 and 1, continue to thrive.    Throughout this journey, they both have chosen to advocate - not just for their family, but for others going through similar experiences.     Slam the Gavel podcast welcomes William Sewell. William, an only child, is from the Lowcountry of South Carolina where apparently "anything goes" in family court, just like everywhere else in this country and GLOBALLY.      William highlighted the corruption going on in his case where he and his ex agreed to coparent their only child after the divorce....until an attorney got involved. Showing the patterns of corruption in the courts beautifully, William explained not only the corruption, but the collusion revolving around Attorney Donnie Gamache. Gamache, who happens to know everybody from the third-party parasites Guardian ad Litems (GAL), to CPS. Another bad actor is the third-party parasite GAL, Jason Wheeler, who William is being extorted to pay a $25,000.00 fee cap, which enables Wheeler to be part of the hearing....Or  William may go to jail.     Lying, perjury and child psychological abuse is allowed in the family courts and William's case has fallen prey to the bad actors allowing it, such as Judge M. Kimmons. The obstruction of justice, witness tampering and trying to obtain 50/50 custody of his only child has now forced him into poverty...And the precarious position of self representation and possibility of incarceration.    Having court this Monday, 6-9-2025, William is questioning if he may go to jail if he can't pay the GAL's extortion fee.
