Matthew Barnwell III grew up in Harlem, NY during the 70's and 80's which was an interesting time in NYC. It was filled with crime and drugs and at the same time, lots of love and neighborhood community. He survived the streets of NYC and made it to The University of Connecticut where he developed into the man he is today.
