We continue of discussions on David Lynch and his work with his film The Elephant Man from 1980, the story of Joseph Carey Merrick and his life at the London Hospital after the side show and under the watch and care of Frederick Treves. The film is written by Christopher De Vore, Eric Bergren and David Lynch based on a chapter in The Elephant man and other reminiscences by Frederick Treves.

The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Anne Bancroft, John Hurt, John Gielgud, Wendy Hiller, Freddie Jones, Hannah Gordon, Michael Elphick, Helen Ryan, Dexter Fletcher, John Standing, Lesley Dunlop and Phoebe Nicholls.
