I was dissappointed in the dividend payout of only 0.50 cents/share for ICOI this month. However, even at a hypothetical $0.50 cents/share payout EACH month, that would still equal a yield of approximately 40% per year! And ICOI is trading at around $15/share at the time of this episode was recorded.

Being a successful investor, long term, requires mental toughness. Not even the best investors in the WORLD, are right 100% of the time! We can prepare for these situations BEFORE we actually encounter them! That way we know better how to handle the situation.

I continue to build/hold postions in several ETF's that we discuss. Also, I cover WHY it's important to have the 3 types of brokerage accounts: regular brokerage account/Traditional IRA/Roth IRA. Especially the ROTH IRA.

Also, we discuss retirement strategies like doing Roth Conversions and deciding when it makes sense to start taking monthly Social Security checks based on. your retirement age/portfolio size/level of weekly/monthly dividend income.

I talk about my strategy of the "cascading waterfall" and why that investment approach works so well for me.

We touch upon how a person could potentially retire with a TOTAL porfolio of about $80,000. You don't need 2 Million dollars to retire if you have INCOME!.

Have courage today, to pick one thing, and work on your dreams. We will talk again soon!

I'm not a financial advisor. This podcast is for education/entertainment purposes only. You will need to do your own research and accept responsibility for the results of any money you choose to invest. I love using Schwab.com to buy/sell stocks/ETF's/closed end funds/options. Schwab has a very user friendly app/website and their customer service is excellent. I can easily get to speak to a human being whenever I have questions.
