You Don’t Have One More Day, But One LESS Day

The things we hear and see repeated are the things that stick with us. That makes me wonder… what am I reinforcing for the next generation?

Fairness means getting what we deserve. Grace means receiving what we could never earn. That’s why the gospel is such good news.

It’s easy to love people who are kind to us. Jesus calls us to something deeper… loving even the people who are hard to love.

We often say “there’s always tomorrow.” But every day we live is also one less day. That reminder makes me want to make the most of the time God has given me.

I thought I was going to teach my son about the Bible while we sat in a pharmacy line… but God used him to teach me instead. 

Lots of voices online say “follow me.” Jesus says it too – but His invitation isn’t about content. It’s about a life that leads to eternity.

Being rich doesn’t always mean having more money. The Bible says to let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… because when life gets hard, God’s truth is what carries you through.

Sometimes we need someone in our life who can lovingly say, “Hey… remember what God showed you?” Accountability isn’t always comfortable, but it can be a real gift.

A little boy at a baseball game gave away the home run ball he caught… and it reminded me how proud a father feels when he sees generosity. God loves a cheerful giver.

Sometimes we make our plans and then ask God to bless them. But the doors He opens are always better. When God opens a door, no one can shut it.
