In the final moments of the Women’s 1500m Final, Jess Hull was clipped and fell denying her a title, with Claudia Hollingsworth disqualified following an appeal process and Sarah Billings initially bestowed the title, with Abbey Caldwell. Claudia Hollingsworth was subsequently reinstated as the winner of the final.
