The negotiation process between employer and employee can be intimidating for many employees or future employees, especially when making a counteroffer. In this episode, Dr. Rochelle Parks-Yancy, a business professor, career coach, & author, explains how and why you should always counter! Yes, you should always counter! Employers have a responsibility to manage their costs effectively i.e. employee compensation so don’t assume the first offer is the best one.
