Sustainable Packaging in Eastern Europe with Angela Ivanova | #75
It took 75 episodes for us to get someone from Eastern Europe, and we couldn't have asked for a better representative!
Angela Ivanova, the co-Founder & CEO at LAM'ON, is a Bulgaria based entrepreneur who is working along with Gergana Stancheva and Philip Ublekov to create a bio-based and compostable thermal laminating film.
Currently in the final stages of development, their film provides a sustainable alternative to commonly used plastic for paper and cardboard applications and packaging foils for garments, cosmetics, food and book covers.
Angela's personal journey is an inspirational one - of someone who's worked in the printing industry, sick and tired of the plastic she saw in and around her work, which eventually led to the environmentalist in her taking over and deciding to make a change.
