On this week’s episode, led by GLOBSEC’s Global Europe project coordinator Katarína Schachtschneider, she is joined by Ursula Plassnik, former Austrian Foreign Minister, for the debut of the CEE HER series, part of the broader CEE Her Initiative aimed at amplifying the voices of women experts from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). They discuss the new European Commission’s leadership, the shift in power dynamics within the EU, and the challenges posed by the rise of right-leaning representation. Ursula also shares her views on Hungary’s controversial EU presidency slogan, the role of women in European leadership, and the legacy of Angela Merkel.
