We're talking about some truly impressive creations, including Attack on Titan, Coming to America, and Beastie Boys. The creativity and passion coming out of the homebrew community are absolutely incredible. But here's the real highlight of Pinball Expo 2026: THE PEOPLE.As much as we love the games, the reveals, and even a little industry drama, it's the friendships, conversations, laughs, and incredible people that make this hobby special. A huge thank-you to everyone who stopped to say hello, hung out, shared a drink, talked pinball, or just made the weekend unforgettable. YOU are what makes Pinball Expo worth coming back to year after year.So grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy an extra-large helping of Don's Pinball Podcast. We've got a LOT to unpack!

Don’s Pinball Podcast — MAKE MOUNTAIN DEW PINBALL!Stern, build this game for the rest of us!This episode kicks off with the incredible Mountain Dew pinball machine Stern built for Barstool Sports. But after seeing it, I have one big question: Why can’t WE buy one?I make my case for Stern to take the Mountain Dew concept and turn it into a real production game available to the public. The theme, colors, artwork and pure ridiculous fun of Mountain Dew seem absolutely PERFECT for pinball. Stern — make the game and take my money! Then things get paranormal…I’ve officially asked Barrels of Fun for a knocker kit for Winchester Mystery House — but not just for replay knocks. I want to use the knocker to communicate with the spirit realm! 👻 Could the machine actually knock back at you as part of the experience? Winchester Mystery House seems like the perfect game to try it.I also get into a bigger discussion about THEME INTEGRATION in pinball. I compare Stern, Spooky Pinball and Barrels of Fun to Disney, Universal and Six Flags and look at the very different ways each approaches immersing you in a theme. Is it enough to put a great license on a great pinball machine, or should playing the game actually make you feel like you've stepped inside that world?Lots to unpack in this one!🎥 Check out Don’s Pinball Podcast on YouTube for the video version, livestreams, unboxings, repairs and more.If you enjoy the show and want to help keep Don’s Pinball Podcast independent and growing, join the Patreon!
