In this episode of the Who's He? Podcast.... Welcome The Ninth(ish) Doctor - Scream of The Shalka We return to our occasional series where Phil and Scott look at the inaugural stories that introduced the world to a new Doctor. This time, it's the turn of the Ninth Doctor but not the one you were expecting.  Yes, Phil and Scott are talking about the other Ninth Doctor, Richard E. Grant in Scream of the Shalka. In 2003, the future of Doctor Who was online and in the form of Flash animation.  But behind the scenes shenanigans and the constant phrase "rights issues" scuppered this iteration of Doctor Who before anyone had seen a single frame. In this episode of the Who's He? Podcast.... Review - Doctor Who and The Pirates Aha me hearties, Cap'n Phil and Boatswain Scott take to the high seas to bring you a review of Doctor Who and The Pirates from Big Finish, starring Colin Baker as the Doctor and Maggie Stables as Evelyn Smythe.  But there is a very good reason why the lads picked this audio story.  Sadly, the other star of this audio story, Bill Oddie sadly passed away.  Bill Oddie was a legend of British comedy and more known recently for his passion for ornithology and conservation, so the Who's He? Podcast are reviewing this in tribute to him. Also in the news, we also sadly lost Tom Chadbon, Duggan in City of Death and Merdeen in The Mysterious Planet.
