Sixteen-year-old Tiffany Reid vanished from Shiprock, New Mexico, on the short walk to Shiprock Northwest High School, on May 17, 2004. A few days later, some of her belongings were discovered scattered along the side of the highway in Arizona, about an hour west of her home. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz talks to Tiffany’s older sister, Deiandra Reid, about the long journey for answers and the obstacles her family has faced in the search for Tiffany. Josh also speaks with Tiffany Jiron, Executive Director of the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women, who discusses the murdered Indigenous women crisis, and shares information about a new step New Mexico has taken to help when Native Americans go missing. Tiffany was 5’3” and 115 lbs. at the time of her disappearance. She has dark black hair and brown eyes. Tiffany would be 37 years old today. On May 5, 2024, Roy Whited did not show up to preach his Sunday service at DeRossett Church of Christ in Sparta, Tennessee. When church members went to his house to check on the 64-year-old, they found his truck parked in the driveway. His sermon had been prepared and his phone was in the charger, but there was no sign of Roy. Investigators soon learned no one had seen or heard from the popular pastor since two days earlier. Extensive searches failed to uncover a single trace of Roy, and there has been no activity on his bank accounts. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz talks with Roy’s brother, Lynn Whited, his close friends Doug Watts and Barb Witzigman, and close friend White County Sheriff Steve Page. Roy Whited is 5’11” and 175 lbs., with brown eyes and auburn hair that is graying. At the time of his disappearance he’s believed to have been wearing a beige shirt and either cowboy boots or tennis shoes. He would be 65 years old today. Teekah Lewis was last seen on January 23, 1999, at New Frontier Lanes, a bowling alley in Tacoma, Washington. The 2-year-old was with her mother, younger sister Tameeka, and other family and friends. Teekah had been playing a game in the arcade area when her mother stepped away briefly to take her turn bowling. When she turned around, Teekah was gone. On April 13, 2024, 37-year-old Danielle Lopez vanished in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey while camping with her boyfriend. Her mother, Sue Quackenbush, knew something was wrong when Danielle stopped answering her texts and calls. Sue reported her daughter missing to the New Jersey State Police. Investigators scoured the forest in southern New Jersey and eventually located Danielle’s car on Lost Lane, but found no sign of her. The case remains open and active. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Danielle’s mother, a New Jersey private investigator who is working the case, and Monica Caison and Lisa Valentino from the Cue Center for Missing Persons. Danielle Lopez is 5’4”, and at the time of her disappearance weighed 135 lbs. She has brown hair, and green eyes. Danielle would be 38 years old today. CUE is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads investigators to Danielle. The reward is in effect until July 31, 2025. Terrence Woods grew up in Maryland and was working with a television production crew in a remote area of central Idaho when he was last seen on October 5, 2018.  Witnesses told sheriff’s deputies that as they were wrapping up for the day, Terrence, 26, abruptly ran down a steep embankment into the dark. Melanie James, 21, was last seen in the spring of 2014 in Farmington, New Mexico. Melanie’s sister, Melissa, saw her walking down the street with an unidentified man on April 20. Days later, police discovered Melanie’s purse and duffel bag in an alleyway in Farmington, but saw no sign of Melanie. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz talks to Melanie’s sister, Melissa James, her mother, Lela Mailman, as well as Farmington Police Chief Steve Hebbe and Detective Daven Badoni. Melanie is 5’ and weighed about 115 lbs. when she was last seen. At the time of her disappearance, she had dark black hair and a chip on one of her top front teeth. Melanie would be 32 years old today. Shy’Kemmia Pate was last seen near her home in Unadilla, Georgia, on September 4, 1998. She was 8 years old.  Several people reported seeing her that evening in the neighborhood. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with some of her loved ones, as well as Dooly County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Lamberth, and Natalie Wilson of the Black and Missing Foundation. Shy’Kemmia would be 34 years old today. When she disappeared, she was wearing a neon green Atlanta Braves jersey with red lettering, Levi’s jeans, and had a leg brace. Tyler Goodrich left his home in Lincoln, Nebraska on November 3, 2023. On the night of his disappearance, Tyler and his husband, Marshall Vogel, were arguing, and Marshall called 911. Home security video shows a figure running from their house minutes after the call. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Marshall, as well as several of Tyler’s family members and close friends. UPDATE: On March 8, 2025, remains later identified as Tyler were found about 967 yards from his house in a wooded area previously searched by volunteers. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office believes Tyler’s body had been there more than a year. They confirmed Tyler died by suicide.
