Sometimes the things that require self control are going to be the harder things to do. Maybe this is saying "no" so that you can move forward in a specific area of life, or maybe this is recognizing what you will have to change in order to reach your health and wellness goals. Self control can feel hard and uncomfortable when it is not something we have been leaning into. Often it can feel easier to "go with the flow" until one day you realize you haven't taken any steps forward in your life and your goals and dreams have continued to get pushed to the side.
