Most conversations surrounding the gospel talk about the physical pain, suffering and death that Christ experienced on our behalf. Today I want to talk about something else Jesus endured for our sakes, and that's humiliation. Some people think God is egotistical, but when we really take time to consider what it meant for the Creator to humble Himself and suffer at the hands of His own creation, the "egotistical" label simply doesn't stick. We are in a point in our lives where we want to know our purpose, but it seems like God doesn't want to give us a clear answer to what that is.
