On February 9th, Kanye West's Twitter account was deactivated following a series of controversial posts. In these tweets, West defended Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was facing serious legal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. West dismissed the allegations against Combs as part of a "woke agenda" and criticized the #MeToo movement, suggesting that the accusations were unfounded and aimed at undermining powerful Black men. He also announced plans to sell Sean John merchandise to support Combs, further aligning himself with the embattled music mogul.

In the same series of tweets, West made antisemitic remarks, including praise for Adolf Hitler and self-identification as a Nazi. These statements drew widespread condemnation from the public and various organizations. Actor David Schwimmer publicly called on Elon Musk to remove West from the platform, labeling him a "deranged bigot" and emphasizing the potential for his words to incite real-world violence against Jewish communities. Following these events, West's Twitter account was deactivated, and he faced significant backlash for his comments.
