As a passionate advocate for women's rights, Rafi believes in the equality of all people, regardless of their gender. He owes this view to his mother, who instilled the value of gender equality in him from a young age. Rafi is an active volunteer with 'Islamic Relief' and 'Merciful Servant', where he helps to fundraise for humanitarian assistance and distribute meals to homeless people. He also acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands in Australia and is passionate about advocating for First Nations' rights. Faris converted to Islam in 2009 and currently resides in Brisbane, Australia, where he enjoys an outdoor lifestyle. And I believe it is this feeling of well if I convert to Islam will I be betraying Jesus?; that hinders and blocks a lot of people from accepting the truth of Islam.
