In this episode the legendary British, double -Olympic gold medal winning athlete Dame Kelly Holmes takes us on a rollercoaster ride of her incredible life, from joining the Army at 18 as an HGV driver, to going on to become Olympic champion in both the 800m and 1500m at the age of 34.
Dame Kelly tells Lisa & Andy how she has always had the confidence and inner belief that she was going to achieve great success in Sport whilst at the same time never feeling comfortable about coming out to the world about her sexuality, which ultimately led to her contemplating taking her own life.
Dame Kelly shares how she has now achieved great happiness in her life and is as competitive as ever at the age of 54!
