How to stop feeling guilty about taking care of yourself first

If you are anything like me, you grow up being told to take care of other people’s needs first.

Leaving you, your dreams, desires, somewhere on a back burned.

Today is the day I am reminding you that you come first. AND that taking care of you isn’t selfish but necessary.

Remember that the way we treat ourselves is how we teach others how to treat us.

The moment you declare you will first check in with you before you say YES to others, to project, to work, to family.

Because that is the only way we can give others the best of us not the rest of us.

Ask yourself today: How can I create a loving space for myself today?

What would make me feel good today? Is what I am about to say yes to is a HEAVEN YES?

Am I still excited and fulfilled by what I am doing?

What would my higher self do/say right now? What is in my highest good?

Asking reflection questions gives you time and space to reflect and see if what you are doing and creating still aligns with who you really are.

Ps. I know if you are listening to this podcast it means you know you are ready to transcend  your reality and what you are living.

On 11.11.2021 we are hosting a retreat in Tulum, Mexico where we take you on a deep one week long journey inward to shift your life.

How to stop limiting yourself and live in abundance

    4:50

When you take an honest look at your life, can you see and feel any limitations? Did you grow up in a place where you were told not to ask too much, not to be too much, not to get too excited? When we live in a world where we are told there is not enough we are afraid that when one thing is working the others have to crumble.  I am here to remind you today that you can live in a world of this AND that.  Instead of this OR that.  You can truly have it all.  You don’t have to give up on your dreams and desires because others don’t know how to live theirs.  Take a holistic look at your life and see where you are still afraid to shine and thrive because you are afraid others will judge you or that it is too good to be true.  Full permission slips my love to have it all, to enjoy it all.  The relationships, health, freedom, abundance… You can have this AND that.  Ps. I love you, I see you, I receive you.

    Your wish is your command

    7:03

Do you ever find yourself scrolling through social media and wishing you could switch places with others? Those who are on the beach, in arms of the love of their lives, traveling the world, living in a dream home…   I used to be creating folders with my dream life. And one of the people who really inspired me was @jasminestar and her bright, light photos and such a loving relationship with her school sweetheart, now many years loving husband JD.    And as I was looking at her feed, I kept asking myself...Wouldn’t it be nice?? Wouldn’t it be nice if I could live on the beach, wouldn’t it be nice to have a love of my life, wouldn’t it be nice if I could just work from my phone as she does….   So today as I was doing dishes and I was in a state of daydreaming, I asked myself…   What would I love to be paid for? And I remember when I asked myself a few years ago that question, what would I love to be paid for, I said I would love to be paid for just reading books. Because any free time I have I am either anywhere around (or in the) water or I’m holding or listening to the book.    Yet I was thinking that to be paid to read books I would have to be like a book critic or maybe a librarian so I let it go that time.    Today as I received two new books I realized I am being abundantly paid to read books!!   Because everything I am learning from my mentor, online courses, AND books I am now teaching other women in my business. Whether it is in my online Meant for More Membership, my online mini-course Unapologetically Worthy, or to my 1:1 coaching clients. I read it or heard it somewhere and now I’m sharing and teaching it to others.    Finding it so fascinating to realize that our subconscious mind takes everything literally and our wish is its command.    Today I am asking YOU.    What do you WISH YOU WERE PAID FOR?   Then write it in your journal, date it, and forget about the how.   Ps: Reviews are like a virtual hug and you know I  LOVE hugs! How to stay true to yourself and your values under pressure of those around you

    6:33

It can be so frustrating to feel pushed around because you have different beliefs and opinions about who you are and what you want to be contributing to in this world.    It can be so easy on the other hand to just judge others and fight for your truth.    Yet we don’t create peace by fighting. We create peace by embodying the peace and knowing our truth.    What I am inviting you to is to shift your perspective from judging into curiosity and grace. Into love and understanding that each and everyone of us has a different purpose on this earth.    When you know who you truly are and what you stand for there is no pressure and need to prove yourself.    There is peace in knowingness.    There is the deeper knowing that all is working out for the highest good.    Where in your life you get to stand up in your truth and where you get to let go of judgement?   Ps. I love you, I see you, I receive you.

How to shift from feeling broke into abundance in three simple steps

    9:29

How often do you feel strapped with money and feeling that you can’t just get out of your own way to live the life you truly desire?   So often we are saying and doing things that are making us feel even more broke instead of abundant.    The three simple steps you can take now to align with abundance are following: Check in with yourself: How are you Speaking about money? Are you declaring things you really don’t want? I can’t seem to get ahead.  I am broke.  I am living paycheck to paycheck. I can’t afford this.    The way you are speaking about money will make you feel a certain way and if that way isn’t positive it won’t create a positive experience with money either.    Shift it instead into - It isn’t my priority right now to invest in this. I am excited when I can invest in this. …   Create declarations that are making you feel good about where you are heading even when you are not in love where you are right now.    How are you Feeling around money and people with money? You can’t be complaining or jealous about people with money and then be saying you want more money.  It sends mixed signals to the Universe.  Instead of comparing yourself tap into daydreaming and say: Wouldn’t it be nice? Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a bigger home? Wouldn’t it be nice to be abundantly paid to be me? Wouldn’t it be nice to be traveling into luxurious and fun places?    Shift how you are feeling around money and about people with money if your plan is to have more of it.    What are you Doing with and around money?   My clients and many people from my tribe know that a couple of years ago I started weekly dates with money.  It is a ritual we do with my husband to create a deeper relationship with money.  Because you get to ask yourself, the way I treat money, would I want to be treated?   If not, it is time to shift it.    These steps are simple, yes, but are you really committed to do something about it? Choose one and stick with it for a while and start noticing how the life around you is shifting and your abundance with it too.

My healing journey with Hashimoto Autoimmune Thyroid dis-ease

    15:44

Have you ever felt ashamed of not being perfect?  That something must be wrong with you or you did something wrong because your health is not perfect? I know I did when I found out that my body is healing through Hashimoto Autoimmune dis-ease.    This year was so eventful for all of us. With what is happening in the world we all felt we have really full plates.    Plus adding to the plate all the events that I have experienced this year really took a toll on my body.    In January it really all started when I was in Czech Republic taking care of my grandma and not even knowing those were the last weeks of her life.    I quit using birth control and started to learn of the effects it had on my body as I was using it for two decades!    Sometimes we don’t know what we don’t know. So learning with my ND DR. Katherine Zagone who was supporting me and my husband on our fertility journey was heart and eye opening.  If you are still on birth control or ever been I invite you to read the book Beyond the Pill by Dr. Jolene Brighten.    Next events didn’t wait long…..   My blood testing showed high antibodies in my Thyroid and also 3.9 TSH (attempting to have under 2.5 when wanting to get pregnant).  When I learned this I didn’t freak out yet it was uncomfortable.    April 5 days before my birthday my dearest grandma transitioned, June on our wedding day my grandpa transitioned and in July our landlord told us unexpectedly we get to move out.    All these things are big life events and no matter how well we might think we are handling it, it is still a stress on our bodies.    I believe that this stress plus quitting birth control is what contributed to my thyroid not being well.    And when I hear people saying that Hashimoto is the body attacking itself, my body just cringes.  I am not a dr. yet I resonate with what Medical Medium (Anthony William) is teaching... That autoimmune isn’t the body being confused and attacking itself.  It is the body attacking a virus EBV that these days isn’t easily detected by doctors with all of its varieties.    That is my belief and it feels right to me.    I believe I was called to Tulum...To heal my body, to sooth my soul, to nourish myself and reconnect with water and with nature.    I believe things are happening FOR us not TO us.   You might not be able to change all that is happening in the world or your body yet you can always choose how you are feeling with all that is happening and choose to do what feels right.    Remember you are never alone.    You can always email me at [email protected] or send me DM on instagram www.instagram.com/petiakolibova    I love you, I see you, I receive you
