It’s hard when people don’t like us, but one of the things that’s even tougher for us is deciding, consciously or unconsciously, that we can get them to like you. When we decide not to accept how people feel about us, based on their consistent actions, and take them on as a challenge, i.e. “I can get them to choose me” we sign ourselves up for an unhealthy relationship that lacks reciprocity and clarity.

How can we learn to stop giving out energy to relationships that aren’t flourishing or blooming? How can we learn to focus on those who choose us instead of trying to convince others to be our friend, or partner, or insert here. In this episode, we’ll talk about how we can release this unhealthy pattern and move forward.

Share with me, how are you learning to shift relationships or commitments where you know the connection isn’t mutual? Share your thoughts on this episode with me and tag me @yasminecheyenne on Instagram.
