[Encore] Ted Bundy - A Narcissist's Childhood, Teens and College Years
Therapists discuss Ted Bundy's childhood, teenage and college years. This is part 1 of a 3 part series. We begin with an introduction discussing that Bundy admitted to 36 murders but is suspected to have killed more than 100. Dr. Barrett discusses his childhood including mysterious relationships with his mother and fathers. How Ted Bundy displayed abnormal behavior to his family from the age of 3 years old and admired his very violent and abusive grandfather (who some say could have been his biological father due to raping his own daughter, Ted's mother).
Bundy became a burglar and a peeping tom as a teenager and it is rumored he may have killed as early as 15 y/o but that is not proven. He moved to a new state, had a new step father who he saw as weak and was awkward at school.
He then moves on to college, and dating women and getting a degree in Psychology as well as starting law school where his wounds both new and old began to reveal his narcissism.
