On today's episode of Mi365 Podcast, we're joined by Rob Barber, a 7th Generation African. Listen in as they talk about the indigenous tribes of the world and what we can learn from one of them in particular.

He discussed the generational gap, awareness, and how he’s taking an immersive deep dive and looking at their lives, their history, their relevance in the world. And how can we help?

In one of his stories, Rob mentioned the biggest problem that we face as a tribe is that our culture is disappearing in front of our eyes. We don't know what to do. We don't know how to do anything about it.

"Awareness is a great thing. Then people actually coming up visiting experiencing it and spreading the message. That’s really important because one of the things that we want those younger generations to see is that there are people who do have a natural disposition to appreciate and love and respect their culture, who want to come out and see it and experience it. "I love this term reciprocal altruism. In terms of Clubhouse, it's kind of fascinating, it’s because you think about tribes. There are some tribes that choose to live and operate in another way, which is maybe the opposite of all about us and we will conquer. I'm going to get wherever I can, versus, I'm going to give whatever I can. And I see that on Clubhouse as well. A lot of this kind of reciprocal altruism of “Hey what do you need?     #169 Be The Change You Want To See - A Tribute To Gandhi

    The topic of today’s podcast is Peace and Gandhi. Gandhi has had a huge influence on my life. He once remarked, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” And it is my life’s mission to assist individuals in discovering who they can be. Then there’s putting things in place to assist people to achieve their goals, becoming who they can be, and so much more.  And as I talk about peace, I also want to talk about these two people: Gandhi Napoleon Hill There’s the term “peace.” When you look at what it implies, you’ll notice that it means peace and tranquillity. And that’s a difficult thing to come by in a world rife with the polar opposite of peace. Even while you are aware, the world is moving in a direction that ignores human beings. The world as a place is a place where there is a lot of trauma and trembling. There are a lot of hurricanes and strong winds all across the planet. There’s also a lot of sun and heat. And it’s a difficult environment to be in. And to discover peace and tranquillity, as well as a lack of disruption. So, how do you go about doing that? Well, I’m not sure how everyone can do it. Because we, as humans, don’t do well on our own. On our own, we’re not particularly successful. We tend to thrive when we are surrounded by other people. However, we thrive when we are surrounded by a variety of people. Having a relationship with ourselves and with nature is also important. That is what sustains us and, I feel, eventually directs us. So, when we were talking about peace, I said, “What is the meaning of life?” Well, it’s the meaning you give it. What is the current meaning you’re giving? What is it that bothers you? But I’m honestly curious: what is the current meaning you’re putting into your life?
