You're walking through the forest, enjoying the weather and see a stick underneath your feet. You wanna take it and throw for your dog to play with it but suddenly you realize it's not a stick at all - it's a living being!
A walking stick bug looks exactly like a regular stick but with legs and antennae or twigs attached to a small branch. There're more than 3,000 species of walking stick bugs all over the world and in diverse climates. For example, in Borneo walking stick bugs can reach impressive 21 inches in length. Meanwhile, in North America walking sticks are the smallest: barely grow to a half inch long.
