Talking Chukar and more with Matt Hardinge

Hatchet Mike, Nate Burbach and Myself had an EPIC opening day! The 3 of us sat down the next day and chatted about the events that lead to us shooting 4 Turkeys by 9 am!

On todays episode I am talking with Brittany French. Brittany grew up on a cattle ranch by Dodge City Kansas and got into the outdooors at a early age. She has taken her passion for the outdoors and now helps run the Outdoor Mentors. Helping teach kids that are interested in the outdoors how to do things the safe and right way. 

Seth and myself go into the bird dog of the day bracket. We talk about our favorite dogs and some upsets in this years bracket. We also talk about the upcoming game bird bracket. Also, we talk about the upcoming B3 podcast collection in the Bird Dog of the Day store!

Josh and I share some laughs and tell some stories. Go in depth on the happening known as BHA Rendezvous that will be taking place in Minneapolis Minnesota next month!

One of the things that we as bird hunters dont do a good job of doing is patterning our shotguns and shells. Ryan and myself discuss Pattern Pros. Pattern Pros provides packages of multiple brands of shotgun shells so you can figure out what patterns best out of your gun and choke combination.

The Ruffed Grouse Society and American Woodcock Society do so much good work in the woods across the country. On this episode we share a bunch of laughs and knowledge on these great birds.

While at Pheasant Fest in Sioux Falls Matt and I took an hour out of an incredibly busy event to sit down and chat for an hour. We chat about him and his dogs, hunting upland birds in Hawaii, and much more. 

Tim Brown is an iowa bird hunter. He spends lots of time in the field with his dogs across multiple states each fall. We chat about his trip to north dakota last fall, pheasant hunting techniques, turkey hunting and the wonders of social media.

Pete is a former Lab trainer and knows the inner workings of dogtra collars better than anyone. He joins me on the podcast this week to talk about the products that he uses and why.

Man! This one is interesting! They put 50 GPS transmitters of adult chukars last spring in Utah. The information they gathered was absolutly facinating! Hope you all enjoy!
