How to FIX Your Hormones & LOSE Weight With the Bible Diet
What if the way we eat, move, and care for our bodies has been part of God's design all along? In a world filled with complicated diets, calorie counting, processed foods, and quick-fix promises, the Bible gives us a much simpler perspective on caring for the body God has given us. In this video, we're exploring a biblical approach to healthy weight management and supporting balanced hormones—not through extreme dieting, but through simple principles rooted in Scripture and practical habits that can support overall health. If you've struggled with weight changes, cravings, low energy, or the feeling that your body just isn't responding the way it used to, it may be time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. God designed our bodies with incredible systems that work together. Our hormones help regulate hunger, fullness, blood sugar, metabolism, stress, sleep, and many other processes. While nutrition and lifestyle are only part of this picture, the foods we regularly eat, how active we are, how we sleep, and how we manage stress can all influence our overall metabolic health. In this teaching, we'll look at 3 biblical eating principles, the role of fasting, and the importance of exercise and movement—and how these practices can help us become better stewards of the bodies God has entrusted to us. The Bible doesn't give us a modern diet plan, but it does provide principles that can guide the way we think about food. We'll explore what it can look like to return to simple, nourishing foods rather than relying heavily on highly processed foods and products that are designed to keep us reaching for more. Eating more foods in their natural or minimally processed form—such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and other nourishing foods—can help us build a healthier foundation. The goal isn't perfection. It's learning to recognize the difference between foods that nourish the body and foods that are easy to overconsume without providing the same nutritional value. We'll also talk about why how we eat matters just as much as what we eat. Slowing down, practicing moderation, being thankful for our food, and becoming more intentional about our choices can completely change our relationship with eating. == Connect with Annette, your Biblical Health Coach!
