She represented Team USA in four Women’s World Cups and three Olympic Games, winning two World Cup titles, two Olympic Gold Medals (1996 and 2004), and an Olympic Silver Medal (2000). Following her decorated playing career, Julie became a prominent television analyst and reporter for TNT Sports, NBC Olympics, and ESPN/ABC, as well as the host of the beloved ESPN podcast Laughter Permitted with Julie Foudy.  In September 2025, she will launch Welcome to the Party, a video-first women’s sports podcast co-hosted with Abby Wambach and Billie Jean King.
